This weeks entry uses an image from our sponsor Knitty Kitty Digis called “Cupcake Kitty” – (https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/509031703/digi-stamp-instant-download-cupcake?ref=shop_home_active_2).
start I printed the image 3 times and also cut the flower and leaves and
re-sized those and printed 6 times. I then coloured all images using Copic Ciao
pens and then decoupaged the images to give some body to them. I cut out some
circles in various sizes using orange and brown card.
Once all that was done I cut and layered two squares in brown and orange and added to a white 6 x 6 inch card. I added the various circles and finally added my main Knitty Kitty image followed by the additional flowers and a sentiment – finishing with some sparkly pearls in the corners and on the flowers.
Will you join us in this challenge? As usual the theme is “Anything Goes”. There is a prize of 3 single images to the winner (or one set ) from our sponsor Knitty Kitty Digis. There are so many fun images for sale – and if you are not a cat person some of them feature dogs too!

“Knitty Kitties started life as quirky hand-knitted cats made by Annabel to sell at craft fairs. As their popularity grew, Annabel began to design digital images based on her own gang of mischievous pets. The antics of cats Georgez and Berts, along with their long-suffering doggy housemate Holly Poocherson, have inspired digital stamps for you to download, colour, and use for your own projects at home. On a rainy day – all the entire day! – what is a girl to do? Crafting of course.
On a recent visit to my mum we decided to make a couple of patchwork fish. It’s lovely to just have a full day to sit and finish a small quick project like this one. My mum had picked up the kit on a recent outing to 4 patchwork shops in Jutland, Denmark. The kit included the pattern, pearls and fabric, so it was easy to get started and complete. The display stands were bought in the same shop, but were not included in the kit.
The kit came from Patchwork-Oasen (www.patchwork-oasen.dk)
to announce that I have just joined a card design team – Through the craft room
door (TTCRD –
https://ttcrd.blogspot.com). It is my first ever venture into being on a design
team so I am beyond excited – please watch out for future posts of my designs
and join in the challenge with yours..
The image was coloured using Copic Ciao pens – on a white background. I matted and layered onto black card and then mounted on a white A5 card. I made a digi sentiment in word (it says Happy 60th Birthday) and finished with a black ribbon.
I hope you will join us on this challenge – the theme is “Anything
Goes”. There is a prize of a $15
gift code from our sponsor which can be used in the Digi store or the main
are many lovely images for sale so I am sure you will find something to love.
